12/8/19: Adulting
- Discussed plan for today’s Grocery-Laundry-Cooking-Two Away Basketball Games-Buy a Christmas Tree Agenda with wife.
- Changed the 9-Volt battery in the chirping smoke detector.
- Introduced the song, “I Will Follow You” to the kids so they would understand Snowball [Elf on Shelf]’s reference.
- Read an article about how to give your kids fewer presents so they appreciate them more.
- Put in a load of laundry.
- Swept kitchen floor & emptied dishwasher.
- Lied to Facebook friends about emptying the dishwasher.
- Meditated for 8 minutes.

Snarky comments always welcome, as long as you follow up with serious addition to list. Make yourself proud. We do a lot. Keeping a visual of tasks I’ve accomplished hushes the “not enough” demons in my head.
